The role

Due to the continued growth of our Corporate & International and Transactions Tax service lines, we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager or Associate Partner to join Claritas.

Our Corporate Tax team works across a broad range of projects including corporate and shareholder restructurings, M&A and due diligence, share schemes, corporate tax compliance and UK inbound and outbound corporate tax advice.  Our corporate team draws on an equally broad mix of experience and specialism, so we try not to be too prescriptive about what a candidate’s background must be.  We’re happy to share our collective experience to help yours grow.

Ideally, we would be looking for the following background and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a corporate or mixed tax role;
  • Ability to demonstrate technical competence in preparing and delivering corporate tax advisory and compliance assignments;
  • Ability to develop a client portfolio and build their own professional referral network;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Interest in development of junior staff members;
  • CTA and / or ACA qualified.

We will consider ambitious Senior Managers looking to make the next step up the career ladder to Associate Partner.

Only those applicants who have a legal right to work in the UK and have an appropriate amount of practical relevant UK tax experience, as outlined above, will be considered for these roles.

Salary and benefits

Our salary and benefits package is designed to be comparable to that offered by the Big Four firms.  Add on to that an entitlement to join our All-Employee Share Reward Scheme which entitles every employee to a share of the firms’ profits above a fixed threshold, plus a generous benefits package, and we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised, financially speaking.

Why Claritas?

  • Whilst we’re a large tax team, we’re still a small firm, giving you the ability to influence decisions and the direction of our business
  • No timesheets
  • Respect for one another’s work / life balance
  • Home and office working is the norm (and has been for a long time)
  • A chance to join one of the UK’s fastest growing independent, full-service tax practices
  • High-quality work and people
  • Strength in depth of experience across all areas of tax
  • Being part of an exciting growth journey and national expansion
