Who am I?

I am an enthusiastic communications professional, with a passion for engaging effectively with employees and stakeholders alike. My professional summary to date includes over seven years’ experience in internal and external communications, as well as significant experience in business branding, utilising various media to create a comprehensive, and meaningful profile of the business.  This is all across diverse sectors ranging from Housing, Children’s Services, Independent Fostering and Government contracts.

When I’m at work

I love bringing stories to life! I am always keen on promoting what an amazing job and outcomes individuals and/or teams do. The power of communication is one of the most effective tools for any business and it is my job to tease out the information from what I hear, and create a compelling and engaging piece of writing or video to share…there’s no such phrase as “I’m camera shy” with me.

When I’m not at work

Aside to being a mum of two cheeky young children, who are sleep thieves – but I wouldn’t have it any other way, as they are my World; I am a semi professional dancer in commercial and contemporary dancing. I always find that I escape in the music and it’s a great energiser. I have competed in competitions around the UK, and won several awards. I have even performed in the Royal Variety show, in front of the Queen, back in my day as a ballerina, with the Royal Ballet school.
