Who am I?

I’m a Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Association of Taxation Technicians, with 16 years experience working in tax.

I initially worked at two boutique tax practices advising owner managed businesses before I joined a big 4 firm in their Reward team.

I spent 10 years there, advising companies on options to recruit, retain and incentivise their employees, from executive level to wider employees. The profile of my clients varied, including companies that were listed, private equity backed and family owned.

When I’m at work

My focus is working with businesses to understand their strategic objectives, so I can determine the best way to incentivise their staff, in order to align the two and help the business achieve its overall aims.

I enjoy that each business is different and they are at varying points of their strategy, as it requires tailoring an incentive solution that works specifically for them.

When I’m not at work

I love to travel. In 2022 I spent three months solo travelling across Europe in a van, seeing as many places as I could and stopping for multiple F1 races.

Since then I’ve got away a few times, including six weeks away in Dubai, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore with my fiancée – no van that time!

I’d describe myself as a sports fan, I generally know what is going on in most things and I dabble with climbing and running but I’ve played golf since I was 10, so that’s my go to choice.
