Both joining as experienced tax managers, Amy and Chloe will work within the firm’s highly skilled Private Client team, led by partner, Sam Hart. The depth of the Private Client team is one to watch in 2024, with the turnover for Private Client having grown more than seven fold since 2020.
Amy is based in Claritas’ Glasgow office, which opened at the start of the year, and Chloe joins a thriving Manchester office as Claritas cement their position as trusted adviser in the Northwest. This focus on expanding the regional markets has been key to Claritas’ success in recent years.
The UK’s private tax advisory market has grown exponentially over the last ten years as today’s entrepreneurs, management teams and businesses face a combination of continued market volatility and a constantly shifting tax environment. Amy and Chloe’s combined 15 plus years’ experience bring additional strength and depth to Claritas’ Private Client team as it moves into a new phase of growth.
Sam Hart, Partner and Head of Private Client Tax comments: “I am delighted to welcome both Amy and Chloe to our fast-growing tax practice. Their skill and expertise will be instrumental to our business as we continue to expand to meet the growing demand we are seeing from private clients for professional tax planning advice. I am very much looking forward to working with them both and spending even more time in our northern regions.”
Iain Wright, Founding Partner and Head of Birmingham Office at Claritas comments: “With the firm having recently been recognised as the ‘Best Employer in Tax’ at this year’s Tolley’s Taxation Awards, Amy and Chloe are key hires for Claritas. We see great opportunity for growth in this sector of tax. I am excited that we are able to draw upon their experience and knowledge to help realise our ambitions during our exciting growth journey. Their arrival is a further boost to our market-leading tax advisory service as we continue to build the best-in-class team that advises and supports our clients.”
