Help support children in refuge this Christmas with Claritas’ chosen charity – KidsOut.
This year, KidsOut has created an online shop where you can choose and donate Christmas presents to a child in refuge from the comfort of your own home. When an order is placed, KidsOut guarantee to provide that gift and deliver it to a child living in refuge.
Children in refuge are effectively living in a state of lockdown until they are moved to a new home far away from their abuser and their friends. This is taking an even longer time due to the impact of Covid-19.
KidsOut are the only charity that supports over 65,000 children a year who are the victims of domestic abuse living in refuge. During the Covid-19 crisis, KidsOut have provided 8,901 food vouchers, 5,362 boxes of brand-new toys, in addition to technology for education and memorable events for the families who have faced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
All items on the online shop are the most requested toys from children in refuge. Please help KidsOut ensure that every child receives at least one present this Christmas.
