The Claritas Tax team are supporting their nominated UK charity for 2020, KidsOut, by participating in the #TwoPointSixChallenge
KidsOut is a charity that supports disadvantaged children fleeing domestic abuse across the UK. Many of these children have experienced physical, emotional, and even sexual abuse and have nothing but the clothes on their back.
UK charities are expected to lose out on over £4bn of income due to the Coronavirus and KidsOut alone have already lost over £400k of vital income to date. To put that in perspective, that’s 15,000 fun days out or 4,000 toy boxes for vulnerable children being rehomed.
Fundraising events make up more than 50% of KidsOut’s cash income, which they rely on for day-to-day operating and more importantly to continue supporting disadvantaged children across the UK. Therefore, we’ve decided to do something about it and Claritas Tax hopes that as a team we can help KidsOut to continue supporting disadvantaged children across the UK in these challenging times.
As part of the #TwoPointSixChallenge, for 2 hours on Sunday 26th April 2020, Claritas Tax will be taking part in 6 activities to cover as much distance as we possibly can, including, running, cycling, dancing, horse riding, skipping, and walking.
