Claritas Tax has been supporting KidsOut for over seven years and in that time we have had the pleasure of taking part in a range of activities to raise many thousands of pounds to support their vital cause; helping vulnerable children and mothers fleeing domestic abuse throughout the UK and giving them hope.
From buying presents for the children so that they have something to open at Christmas and attending black tie events, to raising funds by taking part in the London Marathon 2.6 Challenge and trekking all the way from our Birmingham Office to Tokyo, we have been privileged to help KidsOut make a difference in the lives of so many mothers and their children.
We also understand the importance of ‘giving something back’ to those communities in which we work, which is why we also like to take time out to volunteer and take part in local community initiatives.
Over the last 12 months, the Claritas team have been working hard to help raise money for KidsOut, as well as taking the opportunity to keep fit and healthy along the way.

Sam Giles, Tax Assistant at Claritas has helped to raise funds for KidsOut by taking part in a 'virtual' half marathon ahead over Easter. The event was a 'warm up' for the official London Royal parks half marathon now taking place in October 2021.
Sam has been training hard over lockdown and has racked up an impressive number of miles in preparation for this event. More impressive is the fact that he has already smashed his £250 target for the rearranged London Royal parks event now taking place in October, thanks to Covid.
Sam managed to cover the 13 miles in an amazing time of 1 hour 28 minutes!
Well done Sam - bring on the half marathon now!
