On 6 April 2020, the Claritas Tax team set out to collectively travel 9,500km over 8 weeks from their Birmingham city centre office all the way to Tokyo in order to raise money for our nominated charity for 2020, KidsOut.
The 8 weeks are up and we are pleased to announce that we made it! In fact, we surpassed the target, travelling a total of 9,740km! This puts us somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
We managed to raise over £3,800 (including Gift Aid) for KidsOut and would like to thank all our supporters; your contribution is making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and families across the UK. KidsOut have been providing emergency food vouchers and brand new activity toy boxes to children and mothers in refuge across the country.
In these particularly difficult times, domestic abuse calls are up 25% and refuges are almost full. KidsOut are therefore constantly looking for new ways to support these vulnerable children and families but they need our help.
