Throughout the month of May, the Claritas team are supporting their nominated UK charity, KidsOut, by participating in the 30,000 Challenge, which is aiming to raise £150,000 to take 30,000 disadvantaged children fleeing domestic abuse out to enjoy a special day at any of the UK’s theme parks.
We will be starting our journey at the northernmost point of Great Britain in the Scottish village John O’ Groats, and colleagues will be running, dancing, and horse riding one “lap” of Great Britain, which is approximately 7,723 miles.
The team have so far travelled a total of 2,318 miles around the coastline of the UK, so we have covered 30% of the journey.
We have two weeks to go, and every bit of your support is needed. Fundraising events make up more than 50% of KidsOut’s cash income, which they rely on for day-to-day operating and more importantly to continue supporting disadvantaged children across the UK.
