Claritas Tax, the independent tax advisory firm with offices in Birmingham and Manchester ended 2022 in an outstanding position within their M&A service line and the firm as a whole.
Claritas’ Transactions Tax team advised on 56 deals with a total value of more than £2.34bn throughout 2022, and with a healthy pipeline of new deals for 2023 the team are raring to go, working with new and old clients.
Against a background of another tough year due to the energy crisis, the Ukraine war and the race to number 10 Downing Street and its associated effects, Claritas have had a record year, proving why they continue to be the go-to leading tax advisory firm, placing both their clients and colleagues at the heart of what they do.
Record deal values were achieved in a year in which Claritas has also grown its turnover by 45% and increased staff numbers by 10 to end the year with 45 staff across its offices in Manchester and Birmingham. Not to forget, the team also collected two awards at the Insider Midlands Dealmakers: the International deal of the year for their role on the acquisition of Solid Solutions Group by Trimech and the prestigious title of Specialist Transaction Services Team of the Year!
