Location: Birmingham/Manchester
The role:
Our Corporate Tax team works across a broad range of projects including corporate restructurings, M&A and due diligence, share schemes, corporate tax compliance and UK inbound and outbound corporate tax advice.
Due to the continued growth of our Corporate & International and Transactions Tax service lines, we are looking for two additional Corporate Tax Managers or Assistant Managers to join either of our Birmingham or Manchester offices.
Our corporate team draws on an equally broad mix of experience and specialism, so we try not to be too prescriptive about what a candidate’s background must be. We’re happy to share our collective experience to help yours grow.
Ideally, we would be looking for the following background and experience:
- Minimum five years’ experience (Manager) or four years’ experience (Assistant Manager) in a corporate tax role either in practice, in industry or a mix of both;
- Ability to demonstrate technical competence in preparing and delivering corporate tax advisory and compliance assignments;
- Strong project management skills;
- Interest in development of junior staff members;
- CTA and / or ACA qualified.
We will consider ambitious Assistant Managers and Managers looking to make the next step up the career ladder.
These roles are preferably full-time, but we will consider part-time / flexible working arrangements.
Only those applicants who have a legal right to work in the UK and have an appropriate amount of practical relevant UK tax experience, as outlined above, will be considered for these roles.
